I want to thank you both for the wonderful role you both played in making our day-long retreat at the LaPorte Center on April 3rd such a success.  The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and your professionalism was noteworthy.

In the last few days, I have received back a number of evaluations from the retreat.  Across the board, the rectors are giving rave reviews to both the food and service provided by you and your staff.  their comments include:

• "The meals and service were superb!"

• "The Happy Hour was especially nice...gotta love those shrimp and salmon!"

• "Excellent"

• "Food was delicious and the service was great!"

• "Cocktail hour was great"

• "Loved the chicken salad.  Maybe have brownies for dessert (though fudge cake at dinner was good and chocolaty!)"

You were obviously a big hit with our group, and I appreciate your attention to all the details of each event (meals, snacks, set-up, etc.).  The hot dog cart, complete with umbrella, was a great, fun touch at lunch, and I think you already know how much I liked the hand-made chocolates!  You both did a phenomenal job, and it was a real pleasure to work with you.

What can I say?  You made an already special evening even more memorable.  The look on Alice’s face when she saw you had catered is something I will never forget.  And…the food was magnificent! 

Everyone is still talking about it.  My mother, who lives for Hesston Bar, said, “This prime rib is better than Hesston!”

Kathy and I wanted to again thank you for the great work you and your team did catering the party we held for our son Alex's Bar Mitzvah party at Tryon Farm earlier this month.

The entire experience working with Great Lakes was excellent.  From the initial menu planning discussions to the tasting you did for us at our home in Chicago to the on-site planning sessions, every interaction was extremely professional and reflected the highest standards of client service.
